Research with AI: Perplexity and NotebookLM
Perplexity finds and cites sources from the web. NotebookLM reads only the documents you give it. Used together they make assignments, projects and company research much faster.
What you will be able to do
- Ask Perplexity questions in a way that returns real, clickable sources
- Judge a source quickly: who wrote it, when, and whether it says what the AI claims
- Load your notes and papers into NotebookLM and ask questions grounded in them
- Generate a study guide, a mind map and an audio overview from your own material
- Write a short research note with proper references
