Position Overview Position: Marketing Intern — Brand Strategy, Communication & Partnerships Duration: 6 weeks, ~4 hours/day immersive program Mode: Remote (structured full-day learning, application, and live deliverables) Compensation: Unpaid (with comprehensive learning, certification, and networking opportunities) Cohort Size: 30–60 participants, working in balanced teams of 3–5 Program Structure: Learn → Apply → Ship → Reflect → Iterate model with portfolio-grade deliverables and live impact projects Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Brand Strategy & Positioning Conduct competitive mapping of categories, players, and pricing bands in Indian markets. Draft sharp positioning statements and proof matrices for multiple audiences (students, colleges, CSR, employers). Develop brand tone of voice (TOV) systems and reusable narrative tiles. Communication Architecture & Content Systems Build editorial playbooks across LinkedIn, email, and community channels. Create and maintain a structured story bank and caselet library. Develop an 8-week editorial calendar with production SOPs for consistent publishing. Partnerships & Ecosystem Building Identify and profile ideal partner organizations (universities, startups, NGOs, CSR arms). Create value-exchange canvases and partnership outreach packs (emails, decks, one-pagers). Design and test pilot partnership initiatives with measurable outcomes. PR, Community & Events Draft PR narratives, press kits, and journalist pitches. Develop community activation plans (rituals, engagement mechanisms, safety protocols). Organize and execute flagship events such as Campus Roadshows or CSR Demo Days. Measurement, Ethics & Leadership Design brand health dashboards with leading and lagging indicators. Conduct ethics and risk reviews of communications (bias, accessibility, consent). Write executive-ready decision memos to recommend strategic priorities. Capstone & Real-World Impact Build and launch a live brand narrative and partnership GTM initiative. Create launch assets (PR note, social posts, AMA sessions). Deliver an 8-minute Demo Day presentation with a published portfolio site. Required Profile & Qualifications Educational Background Minimum: Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Media Studies, or related fields. Preferred: MBA in Marketing/Strategy, PGDM, or equivalent qualifications. Core Competencies Research & Analysis: Ability to study markets, categories, and consumer insights. Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in English and Hindi. Creative Thinking: Skilled at developing campaigns, narratives, and community initiatives. Strategic Orientation: Ability to align brand strategy with partnerships and growth. Tech Savviness: Comfort with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Figma, Sheets/Data Studio. Behavioral Attributes Leadership Potential: Ability to lead mini-projects and collaborate cross-functionally. Adaptability: Thrive in fast-paced, evolving startup-style environments. Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of Indian youth, tier-2/3 contexts, and diversity. Ethical Standards: Commitment to accuracy, consent, and integrity in communication. Growth Mindset: Openness to feedback, iteration, and continuous improvement. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace. Familiarity with digital design & publishing tools (Canva, Figma, MIRO/FigJam). Experience with dashboards (Google Data Studio, Sheets). Basic understanding of AI-assisted research and editorial tools. Preferred Experience Prior internships in marketing, PR, brand communication, or partnerships. Exposure to startup ecosystems, NGO campaigns, or CSR collaborations. Involvement in campus leadership, student clubs, or community building. Work samples (campaigns, content, decks, case studies) will be valued. Learning Outcomes & Development Opportunities Professional Skills Master brand positioning and narrative architecture.
